How To Give

General Public

Be involved!

  •  Our first fundraising event is the PACA Youth Voice Competition on April 14. Even if you're not participating, you can be involved. Donate money to the event, donate to the silent auction, come sell yummy treats, or just come cheer on your favorite singer!
  • Be part of our team - help register students and show them where to go. Or if you have kids who don't feel quite ready to compete but want to be a part of music community, see if they can volunteer to do student registrations/help people find their way, etc. They'll get to wear a name tag and it counts towards their community service.
  • Donate money and ask other people to donate money.
  • Spread the word! Let other music lovers know we exist.

Music Professionals

Here is a list of things you can do:

Participate in our competition by:

  • Entering your students!
  • Be a judge. You know you want to.
  • Do a workshop. What is your specialty? Acting for the singer? Stage movement? Technique? Let us know what you'd like to focus on and we'll set up your workshop.
  • Are you a big deal? Donate a lesson/ music experience we can auction off.
  • Be a staff accompanist- for this event or the next one.
  • Help register students.
  • Spread the word! Let other music professionals know we exist.
  • Be a PACA teacher. We'll pair students who should be in private lessons with the appropriate teachers.

Donations

All gifts are currently going through our fiscal sponsor while we wait on our nonprofit status. Checks may be made out to Lakeside High School Chorus Boosters, which IS a 501c3, and labeled for PACA.

Thank you for your gifts - you are making a difference in a young musician's life!
